What's it about?
CABARET BY MARKUS HIRTLER AKA ERMI-OMA Markus Hirtler worked for more than 20 years as a nurse, care manager, home director, and social manager. He created the character Ermi-Oma to raise his voice for the people who are not easily heard in our 'aging disposal society.' The award-winning cabaret artist lovingly, multifacetedly, and with great empathy depicts the elderly resident of a nursing home. "My goal is to promote understanding between generations and to awaken the desire for a respectful togetherness." LIVING SELF-EXPRESSED One can live self-expressed and die self-determined, but certainly not inherit oneself. Or can one? Ermi-Oma suddenly has a huge stash of money due to a 'coincidence.' What to do? The audience is allowed to participate. A large-scale social study from Ermi-Oma's sewing box.
