Steyr, Upper Austria
Name: Jägerkrippe at Teufelsbach Description: The open-air nativity scene in the Wehrgraben district, near the Museumsbahnhof, was founded in 1996 by Siegfried Jäger. After his death, it came under the responsibility of the Wohnen Steyr association (emergency shelter) in 2004. Life-sized wooden figures are redecorated every year at the waterfall. The figures are restored in the "Kraftwerk" day structure, lovingly dressed by many helping hands from all departments of the association, and completed with faces. Great importance is placed on traditional elements, but the creativity of our clients and employees also always finds its place in this special nativity scene. Every year, visitors can expect a new idea or a surprise in the nativity scene. In these "redesigns," we place great importance on sustainability and upcycling. This motto also underlies the design and production of our products. At our sales stand directly at Teufelsbach, there is the opportunity to purchase these handmade products. The greatest gift for our clients is knowing that their lovingly crafted specialties have found a happy buyer. Our employees are happy to provide you with information about our work and ways to support our association, along with a delicious shepherd's punch and cookies.
