What's it about?
Great cinema, no screen — that's only possible with BlöZinger. Robert Blöchl and Roland Penzinger, collectively known as "BlöZinger," are the inventors and masters of KopfKinoCabaret (mind cinema cabaret). A film. Performed live on stage. With minimal props and a maximum of ideas, BlöZinger stimulates the imagination and laughter muscles of their audience to the fullest. Untrained diaphragms are stretched and rusty brain folds are oiled. With theatrical finesse and a large dose of "Schmäh" (Austrian humor), BlöZinger bring their quirky stage characters to life, switch roles in the blink of an eye, and portray each character so brilliantly that the audience has no choice but to be drawn into the witty and entertaining cosmos created by BlöZinger on stage. In "ERiCH," the brilliant gangster saga by BlöZinger, two mismatched brothers meet for the first time in years at the funeral of the family head. Of course, much has happened in the meantime. But that is nothing compared to the events that take a wild turn with the funeral: shootings, a car chase only held together by chewing gum, and an aunt suffering from social Tourette syndrome with her laughter yoga guru in tow... Hold on to your seat, because BlöZinger take you on an adventurous roller coaster ride right into your brain folds. Or in other words: a road movie through the mind. KopfKinoCabaret, indeed. Duo "BlöZinger" has been performing since 2004. For their unique KopfKinoCabaret programs, they have received, among other honors, the German Small Art Prize and twice the Austrian Cabaret Prize. In Germany, BlöZinger perform their programs "ERiCH," "bis morgen," "ZEIT," and "Das Ziel ist im Weg." "Pure fun."
