Diederik Nomden is much more than an excellent singer, pianist, and guitarist. As lead singer, pianist, and guitarist of the Dutch Beatles tribute band The Analogues, he played a key role in making the most complex and originally never intended for the stage Beatles compositions live experienceable. Solo, Diederik Nomden performs in addition to his appearances with various bands. His solo performances are characterized by his extraordinary voice, his virtuosic playing on piano and acoustic guitar, as well as personal stories and humorous anecdotes. Nomden manages to capture the atmosphere of the Beatles in his own unique way, without merely being a copy. When Nomden starts the first notes of a Beatles classic, a special closeness arises that continues to fascinate many fans about the music of the Fab Four today. At the concert in AktivPark, visitors can look forward to an evening with great Beatles classics, including: Here, There and Everywhere; For No One; You've Got to Hide Your Love Away; Norwegian Wood; I'll Follow the Sun; Eleanor Rigby; I've Just Seen a Face; Blackbird; Mother Nature's Son; I Will; Here Comes the Sun; Something; Let It Be. On June 20, 2027, Diederik Nomden will bring his own compositions as well as the timeless songs of the Beatles, Paul McCartney, and John Lennon to AktivPark in St. Georgen an der Gusen. An extraordinary concert evening for Beatles fans, music lovers, and everyone who wants to experience great songs, an outstanding voice, and authentic live music. The Beatles albums that were never played live The Analogues gained international attention because they dedicated themselves to an extraordinary task: They brought those Beatles tracks to the stage that, due to their complex arrangements and elaborate studio productions, were never performed live by the Beatles themselves. The band was founded in 2014 by Dutch entrepreneur Fred Gehring, who had previously served as CEO of Tommy Hilfiger. His goal was ambitious: The music of the Beatles should not just be played again, but reproduced as authentically as possible—with the appropriate instruments, arrangements, and sounds. The effort was enormous. Besides outstanding musicians, technical know-how, historical instruments, and a lot of attention to detail were needed to recreate the characteristic sound of the Beatles albums on stage. A highlight occurred on June 1, 2017: Exactly 50 years after the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in the USA, The Analogues performed the legendary album at the sold-out Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam in front of around 20,000 visitors—from start to finish and on the original instruments. Diederik Nomden, then the youngest member of the band and lead singer, played the organ and opened the concert with the first sounds of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," singing the legendary opening lines: "Picture yourself in a boat on the river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies." And it sounded just as it should, as many have heard countless times. But only on record. Never live. In the following years, The Analogues performed live versions of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The Beatles ("The White Album"), Yellow Submarine, Let It Be, and Abbey Road. The band thrilled audiences across Europe and performed at venues including the London Palladium Theatre, Ziggo Dome Amsterdam, and Olympia Paris.
