Greif nach den Sternen! Weihnachtsworkshop

What's it about?

On this cozy Star Day, we get into the Advent and Christmas season. At several stations in the Weberei Museum, various setups will be available where participants can create beautiful Christmas stars using different techniques, such as decorative Swedish stars made from willow, origami stars, three-dimensional Fröbel stars from colorful paper strips, knotted macramé stars from stiffened linen thread, or sparkling beaded stars. At the beginning, all techniques will be demonstrated, then each person can rotate between the different stations, focus on one technique, or try all the offerings in sequence and possibly bring their own ideas. The goal is to find some calm through hands-on activity, work leisurely on small, manageable projects, learn new techniques, exchange ideas, and go home at the start of the Advent season with beautiful, small gifts for loved ones.
