And that the Emperor hired a huge army to force the population back to the Catholic faith?This act of violence triggered the Peasants' Wars. Despite the devastating consequences, we know little about how people fared during this time, what gave the farmers the courage to resist, to argue, to plead and to hope.The author Karin Peschka, the composer Rudolf Jungwirth and the director Joachim Rathke are collaborating again after "Bruckner's Ape" (Wilhering 2024) and invite you on an exciting search for clues that might also touch your own family history.Narrating, making music, singing and playing in captivating scenes, they explore together with the singer Judith Ramerstorfer, the actors Nora Dirisamer and Peter Woy and an instrumental ensemble Lézard aux Plumes (direction: Sven Birch) – what happened back then with the mysterious student CASP...
