MARIA MA in a pure performance with special guest Ulli Bäer. Experience the hammered dulcimer in a completely different way: Maria Ma has developed her own virtuoso playing style on this traditional instrument. With her compositions, she moves between pop, jazz, and alpine world music, demonstrating the surprising sound worlds this instrument can produce. Together with her ensemble, she combines floating melodies with earthy rhythms and repeatedly reveals her musical roots. She is accompanied by Christian Einheller on drums (Rainhard Fendrich), Thomas Hechenberger on guitar (Josh.), and Mischa Krausz on bass, who has worked with Wolfgang Ambros and André Heller, among others. This time, the special guest is Austrian guitarist and singer Ulli Bäer, with whom Maria Ma has been collaborating musically for many years. An evening of concerts that showcases the hammered dulcimer from a completely new perspective and extends far beyond traditional folk music.
