Spiritual Place of Power - Parish Border of Schönering and Alkoven At the parish border of Schönering and Alkoven, a beautiful walking path along the Innbach crosses and connects the border between the parishes of Schönering and Alkoven. Gracious and merciful is the Lord; great is his patience and boundless his love (Psalm 145:8). This border – like many borders – is not visible in creation, it exists only in human minds and territorial administrations. Accordingly, the two parishes overcome this border again and again and work together. How do I deal with borders? Is it possible for me to overcome my imposed borders? What awaits me beyond the border? Fullness? Emptiness? Am I brave enough to venture into new things? Where/From what/How do borders protect me (my body, my psyche)?
