What's it about?
Creating and turning the world upside down: In the concert program ReWork:Quartet, Tetra Brass designs its very own cosmos of music from the past and present. By combining arrangements and original works, Tetra Brass opens up new approaches and makes it possible to experience familiar composers and works from a refreshingly unconventional perspective. The core of Tetra Brass' musical creation lies in the rediscovery of forgotten original works and the expansion of the repertoire for brass quartet. The ensemble consistently expands the existing repertoire of the 20th and 21st centuries through its own arrangements and collaborations with composers, resulting in a contemporary and cross-genre sound language – two trumpets and two trombones merge into a homogeneous, transparent, and at the same time multifaceted sound.
