Kunsthaus Lembach

What's it about?

In the town center, vacant spaces are transformed into lively exhibition venues, making art visible and accessible. The exhibitions are complemented by a varied accompanying program with music and readings, which takes place from May to November. Simultaneously, temporary and permanent installations are created in public spaces — turning Lembach into a walkable think tank between history, present, and future. Participating artists include Hermann Eckerstorfer (painting, sculpture), Josef Eibl (painting, texts), Elisabeth Falkinger (installations, objects, photography), Sonja Girlinger (painting), Erwin Hochedlinger (painting), Nicole Kudla (objects), Willi Tanzer (painting, objects), Elfriede Ruprecht-Porod (ceramics, painting, objects), Wolf Ruprecht (painting), Gerhard Wöß (painting). On July 31, with the opening of the exhibition, Erwin Tanzer and Willi Hochedlinger kick off the '2er Vernissagen' (dual openings). Until November 15, the house will host exhibitions for three weeks each.
