What's it about?
In Kris Lemsalu's works, ideas, forms, anecdotes, and personal stories are continuously developed. She creates sculptures, installations, and performances in which the animal kingdom merges with humanity, nature with the artificial, beauty with ugliness, lightness with heaviness, and life and death. She revives traditional techniques and methods, combining them with found materials such as furs, leather, shells, wool, or paper in theatrical installations that transport us into a world of fantastic imagination. For the exhibition at Francisco Carolinum, she is developing new ceramic works in collaboration with Gmundner Keramik. Opening: September 24, 2026, 7:00 PM
