Opening on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2 p.m. Exhibition duration until October 31, 2026 Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes the same text in his works, a text that has not left him since his early childhood. Through constant repetition, the actual content of the text recedes into the background, the script becomes a means of design, and writing turns into a repetitive, meditative process. The meaning is always present, but the central content of the works is the form. Reiter uses the continuous line of the arranged letters to create his images in various formats through writing. These range from miniatures to three-dimensional text objects, which he folds and shapes from described paper. Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes with wooden sticks and ink on transparent paper. The act of writing becomes a projection surface for the artist's feelings and moods. Norbert Trawöger describes his works as "seismographic calligraphy..."
