On October 3, 2026, it will be that time again: the popular "ORF Long Night of Museums" takes place – and Weitra, with Schloss Weitra as an exciting program highlight, is participating again! This year, the evening is themed: W E R T R A U T S I C H I N S S C H L O S S ? 6:15 PM Guided tour of the castle museum 7:15 PM Tower whispering: suspense by candlelight Paul Chordwell, the thriller newcomer from Weitra, reads from his new book for adults – registration requested! 8:00 PM "Night at the Museum" – embark on an adventurous hunt through the castle with a flashlight!
