What's it about?

Experience Halloween night on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with an exciting city tour through Zwettl and embark on a spooky journey through the history of the brewing and Kuenringer city. Listen at dusk to mysterious events, tragic fates, and eerie anecdotes that will show you Zwettl from a completely new — and perhaps somewhat creepy — perspective. Later in the evening, learn about a mysterious find in the Old Town Hall, the jurisdiction in Zwettl, and the place where the pillory once stood. In a house on Landstraße, stories are told of a tragic child death, while in Florianigasse, the notorious “Grasel murder house” reveals its dark history. The eerie tour continues through Schulgasse, past the former prison in Passauer Turm, before the night tour ends back at the Old Town Hall. You will be accompanied by our experienced city guides Christl and Wolfgang, who will create a very special Halloween atmosphere with exciting stories and frightening tales.
