Falco Villa Tour
What's it about?
"Do I have to die to live?" wondered Falco in his song "Out Of The Dark." Today, decades later, we know: Falco still lives on! In our hearts, in the music charts, and especially his spirit is palpable in his villa in Gars am Kamp. In 1987, Falco purchased the villa, used it as a retreat, and mostly lived there during the summer months together with his mother, Maria Hölzel. Since he left the villa, almost nothing has been changed and it remains largely in its original condition. The villa offers exclusive insights into the private life of Hans Hölzel and the life of the music persona Falco. The tour goes through the entire house. From the living area to the kitchen, into the rooms of Maria Hölzel, Falco's bedroom, the music studio, his guitars, awards, gold records, and recordings of music he enjoyed listening to. After the tour of the villa, guests can toast to Falco's spirit at the studio bar with a glass of champagne and a magnificent view of his garden.
