What's it about?
"Christmas in the Middle Ages" - Themed city tour During this city walk, you will learn interesting facts about the sights of Eggenburg, and follow the traditions surrounding the winter solstice together with a medieval-costumed city guide. You will discover the roots of these customs. How were Advent and Christmas celebrated? Nativity plays, Christmas markets, and bakeries existed already, but what about gifts for children, Christmas trees, and carols? Meeting point: Hauptplatz, Pranger Duration: approximately 1.5 hours Price: €8 per adult, €5 per child up to and including 14 years old; no registration required!
