The Musical Story of ELVIS
What's it about?
He is considered the most successful solo artist of all time with over one billion records sold. He is the only artist to have been inducted into five Halls of Fame: Rock ’n’ Roll, Rockabilly, Country, Blues, and Gospel. He shaped the rock and pop music of the 20th century like no other, and his influence on music remains undisputed to this day. The two-hour live spectacle "The Musical Story of ELVIS!" presents the musical legacy—from Gospel and Blues to uninhibited Rock ’n’ Roll—and vividly recounts the life of ELVIS. On stage at "The Musical Story of ELVIS" is Nils Strassburg, one of the world’s best Elvis interpreters. He not only plays the King of Rock ’n’ Roll—he lives him. HBO / Time Warner also recognized Nils Strassburg as the "best Elvis interpreter." The ten-piece show band (drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, brass section, background choir) ensures an authentic and contemporary sound. In the style of the unforgettable Las Vegas shows of the King of Rock ’n’ Roll, one hit after another follows. An Elvis show couldn’t be more exciting and moving. Songs like "Suspicious Minds," "In The Ghetto," or "Blue Suede Shoes" not only have an everlasting appeal but also continue to enchant audiences of all ages today! "The Musical Story of ELVIS" is a magnificent homage to the greatest musician of all time. You can’t get more ELVIS! It’s time for Rock ’n’ Roll!”}
