It promotes their language development, expands their vocabulary and general knowledge. Reading also increases concentration. Stories stimulate imagination and help children develop their own thoughts and ideas, fostering creativity and imagination. Through stories, they can also empathize with others and learn to be compassionate. Reading thus increases empathy and social skills. Even in the form of picture books, important topics can be playfully discovered and explored.
