Professional brain training Our Ebergassing pensioners stay fit with Kort.X®, an innovative mix of movement, mental challenge, and mental motivation. Kort.X® is a brain training that combines coordinated movements with memory and concentration exercises. Simply explained: you move and think at the same time. This training has proven effects: Kort.X® increases concentration with lasting effects Kort.X® accelerates thinking Kort.X® improves memory Kort.X® influences movement control and motor skills Build roads in your head with a brain training that is fun! The name Kort.X® is derived from 'Kortex' (Latin for cerebral cortex) — the part of the brain where long-term memory is stored. Skills and knowledge are stored here in the form of neural connections. Similar to a muscle, the system in our head constantly changes and adapts to stimuli and challenges. The Kort.X® brain training exploits this effect by specifically activating nerve pathways, setting new stimuli, and thereby can influence cognitive performance. Simple exercises with arms and legs, reacting to colors and acoustic signals, tasks for the mind (e.g., quiz questions, mental calculations, spelling, etc.) — all combined, along with activating the cardiovascular system, and voilà: the body sweats, the mind works hard, and a broad grin spreads across the face. Feel fitter, be more agile, and take preventive measures. The pensioners meet every Tuesday from 08:30 to 09:30 at the Communication Center Ebergassing to train with Karin Murr. The sessions are rhythmic, with lots of fun in movement, and even the homework with YouTube videos brings great joy to the participants. Registration required. Non-binding trial training possible.
