What's it about?
Starring: Hubert Wolf, Doris Drechsel, Leila Strahl, Victor Kautsch, Robert Kolar, and Willy Prainsack. Directed by: Nici Neiss. Set design: Martin Gesslbauer. Costumes: Petra Teufelsbauer. Overall production management: Marcus Strahl. The world-famous farce, originally from London, relocates to Vienna! In 1924. Opportunity makes love, thinks the Minister, and he arranges a romantic tête-à-tête with an opposition secretary in a suite at the Sacher Hotel. But fate is not kind to him — however, it is very good for the audience, because how this 'Lying Minister' stumbles from one catastrophe to the next is truly a hilarious, daredevil comedy! Apart from the affair, there is suddenly also a very annoying corpse that must be hidden from the suspicious Mrs. Sacher, the press, a shrewd waiter, and the jealous spouse.
