Ausstellung "Virgen - Jenseits der Zeit"

What's it about?

The Virgen landscape is an ancient cultural area with a particularly interesting settlement history. Finds from the Hallstatt-era cemeteries in Welzelach or the situla with the first depiction of hunting are witnesses from the past, from which many peculiarities originated. In Virgen, space and time merge into a unity, because the old landscape structures stand on equal footing with modern forms and give the valley a special charm. These peculiarities inspired the permanent exhibition in the town center, where six personalities look into the past and future and evoke interest in Virgen.
