These are stories of people who take advantage of the valley on the southern balcony of the Hohe Tauern and live here. Seven personalities from Virgen tell of ways of life from the time the valley was settled to the present day. Selected exhibits and documents serve as tangible contemporary witnesses. And those who are amazed by the large-format landscape pictures and feel like hiking will find tips in the exhibition for exploration tours to the most interesting natural and cultural-historical places in the Virgental.
