Ranger Tour: The Power of Wild Plants

What's it about?

The newly designed Path of the Senses on this family-friendly hiking trail offers excellent opportunities to explore the species-rich cultural landscape of the Virgen fields. In addition to getting to know various medicinal herbs, independently collecting them, and processing them, we will experience nature's rich offerings with all our senses and understand their significance for the local people throughout time. Incorporating the newly designed path, participants will be offered sensory experiences and opportunities for nature observation. Barefoot experience Kneipp basin. Registration until 5:00 PM the day before at: www.hohetauern.at Costs: Adults: 22.00; Children up to 14 years: 15.00, including herb spread. Meeting point: Dorfplatz Virgen, Total walking time: approx. 2.5 - 3 hours, Altitude meters & kilometers vary depending on the route, Difficulty: easy (suitable for families). Equipment: sturdy shoes, weatherproof clothing, possibly a snack and drink.
