What's it about?

Nature Watch Tour - on the trail of the Big Five in the high Tauern. The ranger quickly spots golden eagle, ibex, chamois, bearded vulture, and marmot. Spotting scope and binoculars are readily available, allowing close-up observation and photography of the native Alpine animals through the scope. A shy marmot may appear or give mysterious whistles, while a mighty bearded vulture soars into the sky. The rangers have spotting scopes and binoculars with them for Nature Watch. With Swarovski Optik, you can get closer than ever to the wildlife spectacle. Total walking time: approximately 1.5 hours. Elevation gain: about 350 meters. Distance: about 4 km. Difficulty: easy (suitable for families). Cost: 22 euros per adult, 15 euros per child up to 14 years old. Binocular rental fee: 5 euros. Equipment for all hikes: sturdy mountain shoes with good tread, outdoor clothing (including rain and sun protection), backpack with provisions, drink, hiking poles, hiking backpack.
