On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the concert "HERBST:ZEITLOSE Sounds in St. Nikolaus" will take place at the Romanesque Nikolauskirche in Matrei (Ganz). The event is organized by the Men's Singing Association of Matrei in East Tyrol and brings together several renowned music groups from the region. Participants include the MGV Matrei in East Tyrol conducted by Marco Rainer, the Matrei Singers conducted by Barbara Mattersberger, and the Saxophone Ensemble Saxtett conducted by Leonie Wibmer. The program will be hosted by the well-known local historian, author, and storyteller Peter Mattersberger. The concert aims to utilize the special atmosphere of the historic church to musically capture the autumn mood and offer visitors a diverse sound experience. The combination of men's choir, folk song trio, and saxophone ensemble promises a varied program with classical, modern, and folk-inspired arrangements. • Admission: free.
