He plucks the strings sensitively and powerfully at the same time, always trying to coax every last nuance of sound from his instrument. He is then "deep inside," lost in himself, concentrated, almost a little enraptured. However, he never sits still. The chair he plays on pulsates with the rhythm, lifts off the floor, dances with the sounds. Only at the end of the pieces do his eyes light up \u2013 charmingly directed at the audience \u2013 the last vibration of the strings mixes with long-lasting applause. Peter Ratzenbeck loves his guitars, plays with them like children, transforms them into little rascals, magically ambitious young Harry Potters, introverted computer geeks. Peter loves life with all its facets, transforms it into music, plays it in his concerts, on CDs.
