Advent at the Bridge The Christmas market at Punbrugge at the foot of Heinfels Castle continues this year for the 9th time, as usual, on the first Advent weekend, focusing on traditional crafts and regional delicacies. Under the motto "Good from yesterday and today – Art, Cuisine, and Culture," elaborately decorated wooden booths, adorned with torches and lights, once again transform the square in front of the historic Punbrugge into a medieval atmosphere. Quality and tradition are at the center of the offerings. Around felt, wood, paper, leather, wool, and glass, vendors offer handcrafted treasures. This is the place to find the unique, special gift. Culinary delights are also not forgotten on this day: local specialties such as farmers' sausages with sauerkraut, Strauben (fried dough pastries), chestnuts, and drinks for young and old from the "Burgschenke" and the "Kirchl" ensure guests' well-being.
