Heinfels Castle thrones on the rock like a queen. The hilltop castle was restored from the ground up over four years. Visitors can explore the extensive complex with battlements, courtyards, towers, and fantastic views on their own as part of the Panorama Tour. In the guided castle tour (chargeable, registration required), castle chambers, halls, and the castle chapel are opened: history and stories are vividly conveyed to time travelers young and old with models, animations, and interactive maps. Dogs are allowed on the Panorama Tour, but only upon request for guided tours.
