What's it about?

Austria's cross-country skiing elite competes for best times at the Pletzer Resorts Summer Grand Prix. East Tyrol will become the meeting point for Austria's roller ski and cross-country skiing elite on July 31 and August 1, 2026. As part of the Pletzer Resorts Summer Grand Prix, two top national competitions will be held: a spectacular City Sprint in Sillian and a challenging uphill roller ski race from Leisach to Bannberg. On Saturday, August 1, the uphill roller ski race starts at 10:00 AM in the area of the ascent to the Pustertaler Höhenstraße in Leisach. The finish line is at the entrance to Bannberg. On the demanding course, athletes must conquer more than 400 meters of altitude on roller skis – a challenge that requires maximum endurance, strength, and race tactics.
