The season in the Galitzenklamm is opening. But what exactly is the Galitzenklamm, which is so often talked about in East Tyrol? The answer is actually relatively simple: an adventure park on the Drauradweg. Perhaps it would be better to say: THE adventure park on the Drauweg. Because that would be more accurate. The season opens in May, and then it's time again to enter, experience, and discover what this water adventure park is all about.A few keywords describe the park quite well to begin with: exciting, fun, playful, and sporty. All of this can be had immediately in the Galitzenklamm. You feel like you're in a huge, spacious, and adventurous park where one attraction chases the next. But what is actually there on site? A water nature trail, teeming with spectacular bridges and steep rock faces. The Galitzenbach rushes adventurously and spectacularly into the valley. The Lienz Dolomites tower over it all. In addition, you can observe climbers from a safe distance. If you've observed enough, you can venture onto the via ferratas, which offer something for every skill level. From easy to daring, that's how you could describe the difficulty levels, perhaps not very professionally but still accurately. There's even a via ferrata for families. Afterwards, after all the experiences and sensory impressions, perhaps to the Jausenstation (snack station)? Or to the large new water playground? This offers a great opportunity for families with children of all ages to spend an active and entertaining day outdoors. Here you'll find slides, climbing equipment, sand play areas, shallow paddling areas, waterfalls, water play platforms, etc. So it's up to everyone to put together and experience a day in the Galitzenklamm as they wish. But one thing is clear: a trip to the Galitzenklamm will definitely remain unforgettable for a long time…Dogs are welcome on the water nature trail. However, dogs are prohibited on the water playground.
