Sonidos de Corazón – Sounds of the Heart – are at the centre of La Guitarra esencial 2026. Sounds that are not only heard, but deeply felt: as the language of the heart, as a resonance space for humanity, empathy and connection. In a time full of speed and contrasts, they invite us to pause and listen: to the subtle nuances, the feelings and longings that people share across continents. International musicians and artists from different cultures bring their personal sound worlds to Millstatt and create musical encounters that touch and open up new perspectives. Arianna Savall, daughter of gamba virtuoso Jordi Savall, will perform the overture on August 4th. Together with her ensemble Hirundo Maris, she invites us on a poetic journey of love through different times and eras with Il Viaggio d’Amore.
