With Nature Active Guide Sylvia, you hike along a former transport route, where tons of mineral resources used to be transported on rails towards the valley, into the idyllic high alpine area of Großfragant. Along the way, you search together for traces from the mining era. Even today, old wall remains of the extraction sites, spoil heaps, rusty tools, and abandoned adits bear witness to the once intensive extraction of mineral resources in the region. In between, there is time for a short rest to cool tired hiking legs in the Striedenbach and look at the colorful blooming mountain meadows.
