At the 2026 Rehearsal Stage Concert, there is much to celebrate: the 65th season of the Komödienspiele, the 100th birthday of our festival founder Herbert Wochinz (on November 15, 2025), and the 105th birthday of his long-time artistic companion and Porcia poet H. C. Artmann. Therefore, on August 23 at 7:00 PM, we present a festive anniversary concert with a magnificent musical program specially curated for this occasion by Tobias Kochseder and Christine Rainer, as well as some texts by and about Herbert Wochinz, H. C. Artmann, and the exciting and turbulent beginnings of the Komödienspiele Porcia, presented by artistic director Florian Eisner. Christine Rainer, born in Judenburg in 1997, began her artistic training at the age of 6 with violin, then harp, guitar, piano, and singing. In 2023, she completed her vocal studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and has since been studying for her Master's in PPCM VOCAL (Performance Practice of Contemporary Music) with Univ. Prof. Holger Falk at KUG. Tobias Kochseder, born in Graz in 1999, studies classical accordion (MA) with Prof. Na Song at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He completed his Bachelor's degrees in accordion and instrumental pedagogy in 2022, with a focus on jazz and popular music and improvisation. He studied bandoneon at Codarts Rotterdam.
