What's it about?

This question is asked by an old donkey, an abandoned dog, an unemployed cat, and a rooster threatened by the soup pot. The answer is quite simple: You start a band! Together, the four set off for Bremen to seek their fortune as town musicians. But along the way, not only dangerous robbers lurk, but also doubts and vanities, as well as the wonder of brand new friendships. With wit, music, and a lot of heart, author Annalena Küspert retells the well-known Grimm fairy tale: modern, surprising, and full of animalistic zest for life. This has resulted in a play never before shown in Austria, for everyone who wants to know how to find their place in harsh reality with courage, solidarity, and a good song in their heart.
