Expert Lecture: Lake Weissensee Lake Weissensee is one of the clearest Alpine lakes in Austria and is an important natural habitat for fish. Its communities are currently not in natural balance. Changes in fish composition and rising water temperatures are considered possible causes. The lecture will present current research results on the ecological status, biodiversity, and fish stock, and explain their interrelationships in an understandable way. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for an open discussion.
