Fossils - Eye to Eye with the Primeval Sea. With the Nature Park Ranger, you will walk in the footsteps of millions of years old rocks that tell of creatures in long-vanished seas. You start together directly at the Fischeralm for an instructive, exciting research tour into the streambed. Sharp eyes and a little detective work will enable you to find fossilized tower snails, sea urchins, coral reefs, and mussel banks. Back at the Fischeralm, you will polish the found fossils together under guidance. A very special souvenir for home! The Weissensee Nature Park - the geological diversity in the Gailtal Alps.
