
UnWucht Festival 2026: Music for trained ears in the Arnoldstein Abbey Ruin Arnoldstein. On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the Arnoldstein Abbey Ruin will once again transform into a special place for all who do not perceive music as background noise. This year, the UnWucht Festival will again take place under the motto "Music for trained ears" - with a program that consciously moves between noise, experiment, rock, avant-garde, pop gesture, performance, and sonic imposition. The festival of the Aktion Mutante association has always stood for music that is allowed to have rough edges. It's not about the smoothed-out, but about tension, friction, energy, and surprise. In the special atmosphere of the abbey ruin, an evening is created that is musically demanding but also captivating: raw, poetic, loud, quirky, humorous, and sometimes vulnerable.
