What's it about?

To celebrate our 135th anniversary, Upper Austria's top restaurateurs are invited to celebrate with us and toast to enjoyment. A festival for all connoisseurs and gourmets: Bäckerei Brandl opens the doors of its bakery in Linz city center. Take the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the baking craft and even shape and bake the legendary Brandl-Semmerl yourself. Upper Austria's top restaurateurs are guests and will cook for you at the festival. The food and drinks offered can be purchased directly from the chefs. 6:00 PM: Open bakery 6:30 PM: Welcome Baking craft with passion - for 135 years: We celebrate honest craftsmanship and recipes that have remained largely unchanged for four generations. Not maximum capacity, but the quality of regional raw materials, selected ingredients and careful manual processing are our focus. Andrea Bina, head of the NORDICO Stadtmuseum Linz, talks about the "Original" and its significance for Linz's city history. Food and drinks are sold directly at the stands by the participating businesses.
