Sport vor Ort
What's it about?
Vienna's legendary impro-comedy show! Sport vor Ort improvisational theater at the highest level - entertainment couldn't be more spontaneous! Moderation: Jim Libby. Sports direction: Julia Mayer, Ferdinand Urbach, and Anna Weiß. Music: Julia Radschiner. Two teams of the Sport-vor-Ort Allstars compete in a fierce contest against each other, playing for the favor of the audience. Quickly and with sharp wit, they spontaneously create characters, stage scenes, improvise stories, invent punchlines, and create unique moments of emotion and laughter. The audience votes for the team that improvised better, faster, and funnier, thereby crowning the winners of the evening. The repertoire ranges from short sketches to complex storytelling, from heart-wrenching love songs to grand musicals – the consistently high level of the show is maintained only through years of regular training. And time and again, the audience is left amazed: if the viewers didn't occasionally call out inspirations on stage, they could hardly believe that nothing at all is prepared for this show. The performers: Ursula Anna Baumgartner, Jürgen Kapaun, Anne Rab, Helmut Schuster, Michael Smulik, Anita Zieher.
