Ferdinand Raimund - Der Ganze
What's it about?
Ferdinand Raimund – Der Ganze A love story by and with Anna Mabo. A guest performance by Rabenhof Theater Vienna. A journey through the entire Raimund universe – from Alpenkönig to Verschwender, from magic to madness – with humor, fate, and a proper, perhaps real, perhaps invented, but definitely great love story: theater rising star Anna Mabo makes it possible. Her name is Anna Mabo. His name is Ferdinand Raimund. She writes poetry. He writes poetry. She is from Vienna. He is from Vienna. He writes about fairies. She writes about him. He works at the Josefstadt Theater. She at Rabenhof. Everything fits together so perfectly. If only there weren’t a 206-year age difference. But those who know Ferdinand and Anna know that a little bit of reality has never spoiled a good story for these two poets. This is a love story. Maybe. Anna Mabo – she directs and also performs with her band in the event – approaches Raimund’s magical world with a wink and embraces it lovingly. 6:45 PM, Congress Center Villach: Introduction to the theater evening.
