Stroke - what now?
What's it about?
A stroke can affect anyone – making it all the more important to be as prepared as possible. In this lecture, you will learn about the causes of a stroke, which risk factors are often underestimated, and which warning signs can help you recognize it early. You will learn how targeted prevention and quick action can save lives in an emergency. Furthermore, you will gain insights into treatment options, the path of rehabilitation, and practical nursing techniques. Additionally, support services in Carinthia will be presented, offering guidance and help to those affected and their relatives. Lecturer: DGKP Madeleine Polanšek, BSc.
