Schloss Grafenstein

The castle of the Princes Orsini-Rosenberg was built in 1638 by Johannes Andreas von Rosenberg, as evidenced by an inscription in the courtyard. In 1660, the building was extended by Georg Nikolaus Rosenberg. Towards the end of the Baroque period, Vinzenz von Orsini-Rosenberg had the facade structured with colossal pilasters, window pediments, and triangular gables. Inside the castle are Rococo stucco decorations, which are among the most beautiful in Carinthia.
