
In the studio gallery of painter Harald Scheicher (born 1959), over 80 paintings are permanently on display in a spacious, expansive hanging – landscapes from Carinthia – lakes, mountains, towns, and gardens – that focus on the beauty and unique character of the South Carinthian region. The paintings are created outdoors in all seasons directly in front of the motif, with the process of the image's creation being crucial for Harald Scheicher – the painting thus becomes a protocol of seeing. On his hikes and journeys, the painter repeatedly finds motifs that fascinate him. Harald Scheicher has been painting since he was 13 years old.
