Millstätter Adventfenster- Villa Postillion

What's it about?

In Millstatt am See, a lovingly decorated 'Advent window' opens daily during Advent. Various private households and businesses invite neighbors, friends, and guests for a small drink - a convivial gathering that brings warmth and community to the pre-Christmas season. The voluntary donations from visitors benefit charitable causes in the region. Thus, the event uniquely combines tradition, encounter, and social engagement. A cozy highlight among the events at Lake Millstatt and an example of active charity in Carinthia. Whether in winter snow or under a sparkling starry sky - each opened Advent window tells its own small Christmas story and invites reflection.
