
The Klagenfurt City Transport Museum takes visitors on an exciting journey through the history of public transport in Klagenfurt. In seven exhibition rooms, the development of shipping, trams and bus transport since 1853 is vividly presented. Housed in a former ORF broadcasting building in the natural area of Lendspitz, the museum combines historical exhibits with regional transport history. A special experience is offered by the Lendcanaltramway, where lovingly restored historical trams depart on demand every full and half hour in good weather and can be experienced in action. The museum is open every Saturday and Sunday during the season and is suitable for families, technology enthusiasts and anyone who wants to discover Klagenfurt's past in a special way.
