Laurenz Nikolaus
What's it about?
Laurenz Nikolaus tell stories that life writes. Whether chaotic Tinder dates, bittersweet heartbreak, or Viennese old building romance – their songs feel like honest diary entries of a new generation: direct, charmingly twisted, and deeply touching. Here, modern Austropop continues in an unpretentious way. They proved they are in the top league visually and narratively at least with their EP "Annemarie" (including Robert Palfrader in the music video) and the wanderlust hit "Malediven". With the brand new single "Eismarillenknödel," Laurenz Nikolaus now offers the perfect preview of their debut album "aus dem koffer," which will be released on October 16. The track serves pure summer romance: crumbs on the lips, lightness in the heart, and a melody that stays in your ear. Anyone who has seen the band with a mustache and a Peckerl live knows: this unfiltered energy belongs on stage. After sold-out headline shows in Vienna and Munich, as well as performances at the Reeperbahn Festival and over 35 festival shows, the next big event is in April 2027: the trio will go on the large "Laurenz Nikolaus - Führt sich auf 2027" tour! A total of 18 stops in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland are planned to celebrate the new album live.
