The world is upside down. It's like on Earth in paradise, only a grain worse. Two little angels live in the Jewish paradise. The book tells of their pranks and adventures. In this work, millennia-old biblical traditions combine with Hasidic tales and the narrator's delicate irony. Itzik Manger, born in Czernowitz in 1901, is one of the most important Yiddish-writing poets of the 20th century. He died in Gedera/Israel in 1969. Guests can expect this literary reading on this summer evening in Ausseerland, with Franziska Bronnen and music from "Im Weingarten die Madonna" by Pierre-Dominique Ponnelle and Anna Mittermeier on double bass, in the Gabillonhaus in Grundlsee.
