On Schmankerltag, guests are offered fresh Bauernkrapfen (farmer's doughnuts), homemade "Raungerl", traditional Almkaffee (alpine coffee), and real, freshly baked rye doughnuts with Styrian cheese. The rye doughnuts, or as they are called here "Steirerkaskrapfen", are a specialty typical of our region: doughnuts made from rye flour filled with Ennstaler Styrian cheese.
