Klettersteig "Franzl" (C/D), Gasselwand on Reiteralm

What's it about?

A new and so far the only via ferrata in the Schladminger Tauern. Ideally located in the Reiteralm ski area, the route ascends impressively steep above the Spiegelsee. On Tuesday morning, meet at 9:00 AM at the Preuneggjet valley station, the gondola from Preunegg up to Reiteralm (which can be used free of charge with the Summer Card). The event begins with a detailed introduction to via ferrata climbing, then it gets serious...! Around 1:00 PM, we will be back at the starting point, and afterwards you can enjoy a beautiful day on Reiteralm, with a circular trail and swimming opportunity at Spiegelsee. The group will consist of a maximum of 4 people. With some C/D sections, this 250-meter-long via ferrata should not be underestimated, especially in wet conditions.
