Via Ferrata Days at Guttenberghaus

What's it about?

Dates: Fri, 21.08. – Sun, 23.08.2026; In recent years, the Guttenberghaus has developed into an ideal base for climbing and via ferrata courses. We start on Friday with the Hias and Siega via ferratas in the Silberkarklamm (C-D, short, 150m elevation gain each) and then hike about 1000m elevation gain through the Silberkarklamm valley to the Guttenberghaus. Saturday features the long but scenically beautiful Ramsauer Klettersteig (B-C, long) and on Sunday, the Austria Steig on the Sinabell (C-D, steep, exposed) and subsequently the Eselstein Jubiläumssteig (D) will be done, before heading back to Ramsau in the afternoon…:-)! A weekend with lots of via ferrata climbing in the Ramsau am Dachstein via ferrata region at the Guttenberghaus!
